July 2020: Return to Workouts

In order to begin workouts, there is some key information to know for parents and players. Here are some procedures that we must strictly adhere to in order to keep everyone safe.

1. Players must electronically sign a waiver to participate in workouts. Please check Google Classroom for that link.
2. Players should arrive and park in the gym parking lot 15-30 minutes prior to the workout and remain in the car until admitted to the workout. If players do not arrive on time, they may not be admitted to the workout.
3. Each player's temperature will be taken with an infrared, contactless thermometer and he will be asked a series of yes/no questions about COVID-19 symptoms. Any unsatisfactory answers or a recorded temperature of 100.3 degrees Fahrenheit or higher will result in the player being sent home. Responses to these medical questions are protected by HIPAA and will be kept private.
4. If a player does not have enough water to last an entire workout, he will be sent home. NOTE: No water will be provided, and players may not share water bottles.
5. Upon admission to the workout, players should immediately report to their coach/pod on the practice field and maintain a social distance of 10+ feet from all parties at all times. NOTE: If a player is not listed as a part of a pod, he may not participate. We are limited to 1 coach + 9 players per pod, and the pods must have the same members each day.
6. Restrooms on the exterior of the field house will be open for players to use if necessary; only 1 player will be allowed in the restroom at a time. Players may not enter the locker room, school building, weight room, etc. and may not use school equipment such as balls, weights, pads, etc.
7. Upon completion of the actual workout (a maximum of 70 minutes), players must depart school property within 20 minutes. Arrival and departure times will be recorded.
8. Masks are encouraged to be worn whenever players are not exercising.
9. If players do not adhere to these guidelines, they may be asked to exit the workout.
